I am starting to do some reserach on photographers in the Charlotte area that do newborn photography and children photography. So far everything that I have found is uber expensive! Most of the photographers do not want to give you a digital CD of the pictures and want you to pay the inflated prices they charge for the canvases, etc. I would rather have them made on my own so having a digital cd is all I need.

Does anyone have any recomendations on photographers that do not charge $2,000 for a newborn photography session? I'm looking at prices in Charleston for photographers and they are 1/2 the price and the photographers work is just as good or better! I ran into this same problem when looking for Wedding photographers. So many good ones in Charleston who charge less than Charlotte photographers. Grr!!!

Our Heritage Studio on Tryon is where I've always gone. $15.00 sitting fee and they give you the prints right there and their packages or individual pics are VERY reasonable.
