Hello,

I have been looking into this area. It's basically the parts between (N. Tryon Street which turns into Salisbury Road) and (University City Blvd). These two roads are almost parallel to each other.

Could you let me know your opinion, especially if you live in this area, of this part of Charlotte?

See the attachment for more detail.

That area isn't bad. The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater is within your yellow circle though and there can be a good amount of traffic on event nights.

Yeah not a bad area at all. I'm not too far from there. Agree with the traffic on concert nights. Tryon and Univ. City Blvd turn into parking lots during those events.

Thanks, that's great news. I am liking the area. It seems like a decent neighborhood.

Are you buying or renting? If buying and it were me, I'd look 1/2 mile further east and get into Cabarrus County for lower taxes and better schools.

I am looking into buying. Schooling is not that big an issue since we are and intend to continue homeschooling. I am not opposed to further east at all since that gets me closer to Concord, and I have people there.

I'll check out the difference on taxes between the two.
