Pappas Properties is planning a 68-acre expansion of the 1,200-acre Berewick community in southwest Charlotte.
About 1,100 homes have been built in the master-planned community over the past decade. Miami-based Lennar Corp. will build up to 200 new homes with prices starting in the low $200,000 range.

I sure hope they plan to do something about that awful traffic circle. That thing sucks horribly during the morning commute time. The residents will probably be happy to get the town center that has been promised.

Agreed spankys.

I lived there for 6 years prior to transitioning out (just wanted more land, better schools for the kiddos etc).

I would much rather see though (along with my friends still living there) the town center that was promised via the master plan 10 years ago (LOL!) go up first, before adding more spec homes and traffic to the year...
