Short term rental near uptown (2014, apartment complexes, internship)

I'm working in charlotte this summer and am hoping to find some short term housing. I'm looking for a 3BD apartment for between $1500-1800 a week and would ideally like to be as close to my job(700 e trade) as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions of particular areas or apartment complexes that might suit me? Are there any complexes or areas in the uptown area I should avoid? Thanks for the help
