It's rare to have gas in Miami?? I may just have to consider moving there! My lovely wife is one of those "fluff the covers" kind of women, if you get my drift!

My wife and I moving to Charlotte this summer. Trying to complete a little research on utility bill cost. It's just me and her.

Water: Cost per CCF
Sewer: Cost per CCF
Garbage: (monthly or quarterly cost)
Natural Gas: Cost per CCF
Electric: cost per KWH

I think this method would give us a better idea on the amounts we should budget for. Also if you could include your service provider it would be very helpful also.

Thank you so much for helping!
I live in Huntersville and we use Piedmont Natural Gas. They charge .93601 per Therm, and a Therm is 1.023 CCF. There's also a $10 monthly charge.

Garbage is free in Huntersville.

Electric, I think, is Public Power. I don't know the rates since I can't remember my log-in information.

I can't recall offhand the name of the water company. I pay at mycitizenservices.org. It's a monthly bill, and it was only about $20 for me last month.

I live in Mooresville and have Duke Energy as the Electirc provider. The KWH is $ 0.13 if I am correct. Our last bill was about $ 51.- and we used 377 KWH

Gas is PSNC Energy and the basic facility fee is $ 10.- and 1 Therm is $ 1.013390

Here are the water/sewer rates FY 2014 http://www.ci.mooresville.nc.us/DocumentCenter/View/88
