I'm kind of looking for a mega grocery store. Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Bi Lo, Lowes, are all kind of limited in selection, and I was wondering if there are any really BIG grocery stores anywhere near here? For anyone from the Pacific Northwest, I'm thinking Winco.

The only stores in the area are Bi-lo(2), Harris Teeter, Aldi, Food Lion, Bloom (Fort Mill), Lowes(Tega Cay), Super Walmart and Super Target. I googled Winco....you may have to try Sam's Club in Pineville or Costco on Tyvola.

We go to Costco on Tyvola and we love it there. They have so many choices and we actually save a lot of money compared to doing all of our grocery shopping in one place. Ofcourse b/c of the different selections that every store offers, we do our shopping everywhere. My husband gets things from Bi-lo on occasion, I play the sale game, and price comparision weekly between Harris Teeter, Target, and CVS. I think since doing this for the last few months we save about $50 a week on groceries. It takes some time but I love saving money.

NKjaws - I love saving money too! My dh thinks its an addiction (its a joke around here that I probably spend twice the money after we factor in gas and time).

Well it is kind of an addiction, but one that is good for our health!! Maybe I spend $10 extra in gas a week going from store to store, but in the end I still come out on the plus side of the $ so I guess that is all that matters

But gas is too high to be driving around for the best deals sometimes.

True, but all the stores I shop at are all in one little cluster except for Costco.
