Pretty much all of our appliances are dying.

We have been to the Sears (even the outlet and the manager was a jerk, we will never go there again!), Lowes and Home Depot, so we know the dept. store prices.

Thanks,

Dawn

Plaza! Plaza Appliance is great. From what I understand, Family owned for years. They even have an outlet store on E.Idependence in Matthews . The son is the one you see in the commercials. lol

I hear East Gastonia Hardware is good. Supposedly they'll make some deals with you - but I didn't end up going there.

Queen City. I don't know about their regular prices and dealings being all that great, but if you are building and deal with them you can use your builders name to get discounts on extra appliances not in your housing allowance.

I searched all the stores mentioned and none of them offered any great deals. I recently had to retreive some furniture from Atlanta and found some great deals there. I got my Fridge for $1000 less than anywhere I've seen here at Plaza, Queen City, HH Gregg, Sears, etc. I know you probably won't go to Atlanta, but I am just saying I also did not find any great deals here in Charlotte either.

Queen City Appliances. Either use your builder's name or negotiate for builders prices. They will match prices but usually don't have to because they are lower to begin with. We just did a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and double oven.

We don't have a builder. We live in an area where everyone bought a few acres and custom built, so that won't help.

The thing I can offer is that I can pay cash though.

Doesn't matter. Ask for builder prices. They are the lowest prices QC can offer. Doesn't have to be new construction.
