I have been a patient of hers ever since I started wearing classes. Does anyone know if she is going anywhere else in the Charlotte area since she left Charlotte Ears, Eyes, Nose and Throat?
I didn't realize she left! IMO she is the best pediatric eye doc in Charlotte. I will see what I can find out.
Please let me if you do find out! I was seeing a regular eye Dr. a two years ago and they sent me back to her due to her knowing my eye history.
I seen her at the end of June. I received a letter in July stating that as of July 15 (I think that was the date. The day for that date was a Monday) she was no longer at CEENTA. I emailed ceenta asking if they knew and they said they haven't received any forwarding information for her.
I would at least like to see who she would recommend for me to see if she is not doctoring anymore.
I read about this on another forum. Someone called and the office said they only know she is taking a break and they do not know where she will be if/when she goes back to work.
Charlotteborn, I emailed CEENTA when we received the letter. It took them a few weeks to respond. They said that they didn't have any forwarding information at the time, but told me they would keep my email address and contact me if/wehn they did.
Our family doctor recently left the practice he was associated with. No idea where he is at this point. We have been patients of his for 14 years, back when he "owned" the office (not sure if that's the correct wording) but it was his practice, he was the only doctor. Was not under a hospitals umbrella. Then he got bought out by Presby first, then CHS, doctors were added. My Gynecologists office said that it's possible his contract wasn't renewed either by his choice or theirs, with all the new healthcare crap, some doctors are making a change of plans. Said to try and call Mecklenburg Medical Board? Society?, they may be able to find out where his license is.
Has anyone heard anything? I called CEENTA (Blakney office) and asked the receptionist and she said that she did not and has not left any location to where she may go. I asked her if they would foward the information to her patients if they heard anything and was told I would have to ask the office manager. She told me to call back Monday and speak with her.

I adore her as well. I hope she's working elsewhere and we can follow her.
