Given our favorable business climate and highly desirable quality of life (e.g., cultural life, restaurant scene, and world-class shopping surpassed by none), it's a matter of time before we crack this list. As per the Business Insider, the cities with the most billionaires are:

1. NYC 103
2. Moscow 85
3. HK 83
4. London 52
5. Beijing 37

The only other US city on the list is LA which ranks 13th with 25 billionaires.

With Republican leadership and solid southern values, Charlotte will be on this list in 10 years.

I'm talking about Guv Pat, who will be in 1600 Pennsylvania Ave eventually, and I hope that he names Franklin Graham as Sec. of State. After Obama, we need that type of moral leadership.

A person can dream

Your thread title makes no sense, and your subject matter makes this more appropriate for the NC forum, not the Charlotte forum, just sayin'....

Anybody remind you, lately, that this is not a theocracy? If not, consider yourself reminded.

I will be relocating to Lake Norman and I am FAR from a millionaire, much less a billionaire!

There are 3 billionaires in all of NC..... Charlotte will not be on that list in your lifetime. I can promise you that.

Funny then, how NYC and LA made that list given their lack of "Republican leadership and solid southern values."

Thanks for this comment! I was laughing out loud reading the first post, thinking this was a joke, then read further and OMG!

I'm a registered Republican, but also realistic. The only way McRory gets to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave is with a tour group or an invite. No way he gets there by being elected. It just ain't in the cards.
