Cedar Mill isn't really an "area" in Charlotte. If the maps are correct, it's a subdivision in Northwest Charlotte.

Will you be working near there? There may be some better choices.

I will be working in the down town area but was considering a purchase in that development. Some some houses in this community and thought highly of it. .. are there any negatives about this community? where would you recommend?

I live in the community ATM , renting, and it's just okay...homes are nice for the price. some break ins have been reported and the speeding throughout the neighborhood is pretty bad. The stop signs were put in place to Crack down but it isn't working. Cops are here every night (almost) giving tickets.

ATM= At the moment. I had a friend that rented there and seemed to like it enough. He said the same thing about the speeding because he was scared someone was going to take him out running at night. Never heard anything about breakins from him, so cannot comment on that.

That's a relief. I thought ATM meant something else, and not a cash machine.
