Does anyone know of anywhere near Ballantyne to buy good furniture? We are looking for a new couch. We don't want to spend a fortune, but truthfully I don't know how much furniture usually costs. Any suggestions?

Tyndells just opened up a store on Johnston Rd in SC. Find out what u want, call some furniture stores in Hickory to get their prices and Tyndells will come close (considering delivery and all).

You might try to go to Waxhaw's Furniture Outlet Store. It is only open Thur, Fri and Sat but the deals are incredible!

Tyndell's on 521 or Tinsley's in Rock Hill. Both reputable family-owned companies.

Yes, Deinitely check out Waxhaw's Furniture Outlet Store. If you find something you like though , you may want to buy it immediately since it may not be there the next time that you go back

there are a bunch of furniture stores near carolina place mall. when we furnished our apartment in ballantyne, we didn't want to (and couldn't afford to) spend a ton of money on furniture that we may not want to keep when we eventuall get a house...so we ended up buying our couch and love seat (and cofee table and dining table) from value city on south blvd in the carolina pavillion shopping center--not too far from ballantyne. we got the most for our money there.

I heard that they don't deliver, so OP, you would have to figure out how to bring this home, and carry it in.

If you REALLY want to spend a minimum amount of money for a QUALITY piece of furniture, you should find the piece you want (internet, furniture store, anywhere else), then google furniture stores in hickory, lexington, lenoir, mt airy (to name a few). U will need the manufacturer and the product number (or at least the name of the product line). Call the furniture store and get a quote. It will be almost half the price of what the stores here will charge you. U can order from them or Tyndells will come close to that price.
