I'm going to have some friends come and stay in Charlotte for a few days and need some good hotel recommendations. Since Charlotte is so big, my request for recommendations would be way to broad so if you don't mind, I'm going to narrow it down a bit to three areas and the criterion.
Criterion: We don't need (or want to pay for) Grand Luxury Posh-style hotel but we don't want the ****-poor hooker/seedy type of location either (cough cough Econo Lodge or others within that range)
The three areas that we are looking at are around:
Northlake Mall
Carolina Place Mall
Concord Mills
Yes, we plan on doing some shopping and eating. I'm afraid to ask about anything in the SouthPark area but if you know of some good hotels for a great price in that area and GREAT REVIEWS, then let it rip!
