Hello,
I'm new to the area and just wanted to know where the New yorkers and Puerto Ricans hang out in Charlotte. So far i love it; but tend to miss the City.

Anyone out there with info.

There aren't many of us I'm actually in Fort Mill where there are even fewer. Most are scattered throughout. The most you'll find grouped in one place is at a restaurant called "A Piece of Havana" (yes, it's a Cuban restaurant) on a Friday or Saturday night. It's in the SW corner of Charlotte on South Tryon.

They have live music on Fridays and Saturdays.

There's also a restaurant called Punta Cana on South Boulevard but we've been highly disappointed with their food and service.

Word of advice; don't show up at Piece of Havana hungry. Food there gives us Cubans a bad name!
