Give me you top recommendations. I like someone that really listens, takes their time and when I have a problem I talk to them not the nurse or receptionist. I would also like them to be affiliated with the big hospitals. If they do bloodwork on site that is a plus too.

You should try the Mecklenburg Medical Group in Ballantyne on John J Delaney Dr. My Dr. is great and they have extremely modern facilities and are affiliated with CMC.. They also have all sorts of specialists in the same practice. I do believe they do blood work there; but I am not 100% sure.

I second Weddington Family Physicians. I see Dr. Sharma and she is very thorough, professional and takes her time. They do bloodwork in the office.

Not sure if he is still accepting new patients, but Dr. Larry Berman is GREAT!

He is located on Park Rd. in Pineville in the parking lot of CMC - Pineville.

Default hmm...Weddington sounds great but

I called Weddington Family but they said they typically admit to CMC-Union most of the time and I was told even by staff members at that hopsital not to go to CMC-Union!

"typically" means they don't have to admit to CMC Union. I am sure it is much easier to round if all the patients are in one hospital. If you find a doctor you really like, share your concerns about CMC Union with them. You may have a hard time finding a doctor on the south side that doesn't typically admit to one of the satellites.
BTW, this time of year the hospitals are packed, the staff is tired, overworked, and more than likely underpaid for what they do. Its tough to work in that field. Is it possible they were upset and venting?

Default oh no..haha

I was told by at least 7 people that it was an awful place to go. A neighbor works there and she said she wouldn't go if her life was on the line!
She said to always ask for CMC-Main.

A friend had her first baby there recently and thought it was a great place! I do think for serious injury or surgery I would go to CMC-Main however
