Does anyone take Beatties Ford from Sam Furr or south of Sam Furr to Uptown during rush hour? Is there major hold ups or is there a recommended route other than 77?

If your on Beatties Ford you can take that all the way to Sunset Road and beyond you can actually go all the way to Downtown. Where exactly are coming form and going to?

I am thinking from the Stephens Grove Community which is just south of Sam Furr on Beatties Ford to Trade.. I was thinking of getting on the 77 either at 18 or 16.

then I would take Beatties Ford to Hambright Road. Turn left follow it up past Tesh's and turn right on Kerns Road. This will kick you out near the new mall.

There are some other ways around that area but this was easier to type out

QC misfit mention a good way as another option.
I would avoid turning right off beatties Ford onto Sam Furr to exit 25, that could add 20 minutes to your commute to I77 and traffic between exit 25 and 23 is stop and go during commute times.

One reason I am looking south of Sam Furr, I want to avoid that traffic nightmare. Worst Case I could get on and off at 23, looks like that area off Gilead and 77 has some nice stuff. That road gets funny, as you go straight and its a little rual Bud Hendersen. This place takes some getting used to. Google Maps is my friend.

A ha ooo now I feel like I been here to long. Gilead use to run more of straight shot to Beatties Ford Road until Gilead Village was built (the homes that it looks like someone smack them on the sides No offense to anyone that lives there)
The problem of gong this way is trying to get off Beatties Ford. Between the fire department there and Sam Furr is not but half mile distance and traffic can build up.

If you dont want to travel down Beatties Ford I recommend QCmisfit recommindation of using Hambright and you also could take Hambright to North Lake Parkway or Mt Holly Huntersville Rd to North Lake Pkwy.
I love this part of Huntersville because you have multiple options.

My sister-in-law, who used to work at the Charlotte Public Library, used to go that way to get from Bud Henderson to uptown. Never had a problem as far as I know.
