Does anyone know of any more modern apartments with stainless appliances and hardwood floors for example (anything not your cookie cutter style)? Any help would be much appreciated. All of the apartments I have seen online all look the same!!!

Or does anyone know of newer apartments (built within the last 5 years or so)? Thanks!

The Colonial Grand it is brand new open it doors this past fall
Colonial Properties Trust - Colonial Grand at Huntersville they also have units in Charlotte. 1 bedroom 1 bath start at $725
and I would say they are probably only at 25% of occupancy. Your chances of getting brand new apartment very likely.
This complex has some very cool amenties such as crown molding, granite counter tops, tile floors, washer & dryer and some cool communtty features like fitness center, outdoor kitchen with gas grills, wireless internet cafe.

Post Apartments Uptown have hardwood floors, exposed brick, lofts. Not sure about the stainless steel though. Post Gateway & Post Uptown Place. Check them out! It is like living at a resort. I lived there for a short time back in 2000 and it was like living at a luxury resort.

Most of the new apartments in the South Park area are modern with non cookie cutter styles. There are several new buildings.

You might be able to get a 1 bedroom for $900 - $1,000 with hardwoods like you want.

Especially in the Uptown area. Rent is not cheap. Ballantyne is cheaper.

GOOD LUCK!
