My imagination or does the boy cry wolf often around here when it comes to snow forecasts?

Same here...I mean we aren't going skiing but it sure is pretty to watch falling. Most of the time it's been small flakes but they were getting pretty big a while back. Now it's slowing down some.

Meterologists can only predict the weather - they can't gaurantee it!

Weather does have a life of it's own, and things can happen to change the expected pattern - that hardly seems like the weathermans fault.

Ddint say it was..just saying every forecast since I've been here has overdone the snow. I think its more wishful thinking that accurate forecasting

Then again, i heard in the big storm of 04 the forecast was flurries. Believe me, I am in the weathermans corner. They have come a long way from when i was a kid. I think they do a great job.

My favorite for his accuracy and professionalism is WBT channel 3's Eric Thomas

I don't care---even if they do make to big of an issue over it. It use to irritate me because I'd get my hopes up for something different and maybe exciting but no more so much. At least people are getting more prepared even if it's an over reaction. I do love excitement and I love weather but be happy with what we get and enjoy it/or don't.
