We will be moving to Charlotte in a couple months and will be targeting the Ardrey Kell or Providence high districts. We would love to get recommendations for good neighborhoods or conversely advice on any we might want to avoid - purely for safety reasons as we have an 11 year old and I dream of a safe neighborhood he can ride his bike around and walk to friends houses (actual neighborhood and immediate surrounding area). We're looking to stay under $280k, 1800+ sq ft, 3 bed/2bath. Age of home and lot size is not terribly important. We've found many that fit our criteria but I just want to make sure we don't end up in a bad area. Thanks!
