I used A1 Carpet and Tile in Charlotte. I did my research with several Carpet stores and also Lowes and Home Depot. It took several days, but being new to this area I didn't want to go with the first place I visited.
Angie's List had very high reviews for the owner Mohammed. He has been in the carpet business many years and was able to answer all my questions and understand I was looking for something unique to put on a particular staircase.
Mohammed helped me decide on what would look the best (giving me several options) and then on helping me choose carpet and padding for 3 bedrooms and a bonus room.
I've very picky, especially about the installation of carpet and the quality of the pad. He assured me I would be pleased .... and he came through! He was hands down, the best price for top Quality Carpet.
I live it Concord, he came to my home himself (on a Sunday afternoon) to measure and brought what I had picked out, along with other samples to make sure I would be satisfied with my selections. He also called after the job was completed, to ask if I was pleased.
