I'm a Republican and this is just a terrible turn of events in how Charlotte has lost the 2017 NBA All Star Game along with the potential revenue ($100 million) that is so greatly needed.
In my personal opinion the Charlotte City Council made something an issue that wasn't even an issue while the state intervened and made things worse with the passage of House Bill #2.
Well good riddance, NBA All-Star Game! I'm proud to live in a state that won't negotiate with terrorists.
