I have friends in town for the CIAA and I need help! There are soooo many parties and choices we are going crazy trying to figure out what parties to attend. We do not want to be bored and we def. do not want to waste our money. Does anyone have suggestions for us on the hottest parties. We prefer hip-hop, classy-chic. NO KIDS, BUT NO GRANDPARENTS! We are all between 27-35 and very fashionable!

Believe it or not, most of the parties will be packed. There really will be that many people in town. My advice, 1) definitly buy tickets in advance, it is much cheaper, 2) you MUST go to a day party on Saturday, and 3) by all means, do try to make it into the arena either Friday or Saturday night (plenty of scalpers outside). Its a great experience and they have tons of vendors and several other activies. Any other questions, just ask. I've been going to this tournament for some time.

Here are some parties I'd recommend...

Thursday Night
• Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Rho Psi Omega chapter presents Pink Groove 3, Centennial Groove. Music by DJ Stacey Blackman. No athletic wear allowed. 9 p.m.-2 a.m. The Forum. 300 N. Thanks Carolina Blue.... You have gotten us all prepared for a weekend of Fun, Fun, Fun!!!! I love the CIAA, I go every year. The reason why I found you guys tonight was because I was wondering about the popular spots for parties this year. Last year, I went to alot of day events. This year I think I am going to be a "night owl."
