Being so I originally started the thread, I don't need to make sure I start off on the right foot. I asked where the upscale places are and people responded. I think going into statements of how girls are "forced" to stay in the business and girls kill themselves and etc are a little off topic and shouldn't have even been brought up. We can go back and forth on this subject for a ton of responses and incorrect information but why? Move on.
But you are the only one that took it personal.
NO ONE said Himain is a drug addict stripper that provides other services!
Not sure if you will get many tips if you act like this on stage!
Well, I am not a psychologist and I am not a dancer/stripper, either. I know someone from Charlotte who works in LV as a dance girl and she works very hard, wears very skimpy clothing, makes terrific money, is ruining her feet!!!, but is not involved in "other activities" that people may assume go along w/ that industry.
I enjoy reading everyone's posts, but Himain came on here asking for info and really . . . we kind of hijacked the thread w/ talk about "what goes on" in the industry.
I am not meaning to be disrespectful to anyone who posted, but Himain was just asking for info, not our opinions about "clubs."
My opinion is . . . I just wish I still had the body to consider whether or not I could dance - anywhere!!!!!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder & tipper!
I even have male friends that are dancers and they do it part time and make decent money too!
I was thinking . . . where do you get those dance poles? You know, I have heard people are putting them in their bedrooms . . .
Himain . . . forgive me for hijacking the thread! It does kinda fit!!! Just dancing at home instead of dancing in public, no?
And Himain - do not forget - there is a BIG MARKET now for anyone who can teach pole dancing to soccer mommies!!! THey had a segment on Oprah! I would go to a class!!!!
There are 7 or 8 that I know of in the Charlotte area (my customers keep giving me hints about them...) Not including the ones in Monroe or by Wilkinson Blvd....
there are plenty of them around here....
There's also another one right on the Matthews-Stallings border on 74 (right by 485)...anyone ever notice it? It has a blinking "topless" neon sign.....its hilarious...straight out of a "porky's" movie...

Regardless, they aren't very common here, with good reason
Really? Currently there are 16 clubs in Charlotte. 93 in NC altogether.
