My family is relocating to Denver, North Carolina this summer. We have a child in elementary school and two in middle school. I am torn between which schools would be the best fit for my kids. I have done some online research and I have seen the test scores. They seem relatively comparable. When we come down for a visit we will tour them to get a feel for the environment. But for the time being, and the purposes of a real estate hunt, I am curious what the "word on the street" is about these schools. Give me the dirt!

She probably did not have much of a choice for 2017. By February/March, the lotteries for charter schools have been done and there is a wait list....and you cannot apply to an NC charter school unless you are an NC resident.

Good to know. Thank you. Do you have any personal insight on Denver schools?

No, sorry I don't. We live in another town. I have mixed feelings about schools here in general.
