I am extremely frustrated. I got to the Mooresville DMV to get a driver's license at 3:45 and they were done giving numbers for the day. I am a teacher and can not really get there earlier!! So, I may take a sick day Friday because I've had an earache. So, if I go to the Dr's, I can go to the DMV that day, too. So, when is the best time? Do I need to be there when they open, or is some other time better? Please help! I was so angry, because they are not even nice about it! Very rude! And, I got yelled at because I passed the rope! Jeez!

Also, from Cornelius, which DMV is the closest?

Thanks!!!

I always go to Belmont. You have to go a little farther but they're never crowded and they're very nice.

I don't know about Mooresville, but the one in Charlotte is easier to deal with if you get there around 7:30am.

make an appointment and go early never go in the afternoon that is when blue collar workers are off work and high school students. Try office in Cabarrus County or Lincoln County

When is the best time to go? Never. Do it online if at ALL possible, or you'll have to take a whole day off to do it. I went to the one in Concord, and it was a little better.
