Townhomes/Condo in Pineville/ballantyne/fort mill (Weddington, Catawba: for sale, condos)

Hi,

Would I be able to find a townhome or condo in Pineville, Ballantyne, or Fort Mill in a nice part of town for $150k?
It's only me so I don't need anything too big and I don't want too spend too much. I shouldn't say it's only me. My son just moved out, but I expect him to visit from time to time so he would need his own room or area when he comes. So maybe a 2bedroom, no bigger than three with two baths.

On the far edge of Ballantyne, at the Ballantyne/Providence Road intersection there are some very well kept condos in your price range or very close. A few months ago I saw 2 Bed 2 1/2 bath townhouses with a one car garage for 145K. I think they are called Covington At Providence, but I'm not sure. Grier Farm Lane runs right through the middle of them.

Hum... not sure the info is worth much. I just checked with zillow, realty.com and at the condo association itself and out of 200 and some units I noticed only two for sale and they were the more expensive 3 bedroom units.

The real bargains over there are the 2bd, 2 1/2 bath units.
The turnover is pretty low in this particular neighborhood. But, if you can get in, the values are probably going up with Waverly Shopping center being built right down the street, and 485 a stone's throw away for transportation to the airport, etc. It is quietly nestled between Ballantyne and Weddington.

In Fort Mill you can for sure get a 2 bedroom for that or even less. Look at Catawba Village and the townhomes in Waterstone. They are in a better area than some of the other townhomes in FM.

Pineville Forest has two bedrooms in that range. It's a nice little location on a park.
