Hello all,
We are looking for a good Catholic Church for our family. We are in the Indian Trail area temporarily, but looking at Matthews or Wesley Chapel area for long term. Is St. Matthews our only option? I visited the other day and is seemed so BIG.
Any feedback on this?

St. Matthew is a large parish.

Not too many Catholic Churches around, so you might have to do a bit of traveling to get to one. The Charlotte Diocese will have a listing. I go t St. Therese in Mooresville & I have to say it's definitely different than back in NY. Same Mass, just took awhile to get use to it.

St. Luke's in Mint Hill is located right off of 485. I have many friends and neighbors who attend there and LOVE IT!

According to Ballantyne Magazine, St. Matthew's is the largest Catholic parish in the SOUTH! Who knew? I'm so proud to be a part of that parish. I think you should go to one of the Masses and see what you think. The music is wonderful. Yes, it is HUGE, but our family loves going there.
