I've heard different stories...for a rush hour commute, how long does it typically take to get from Huntersville into the city?

About 30-45 minutes to get Uptown in rush hour traffic. Huntersville is a GREAT place to live.

The closer you live to I-77 the quicker you get into the city!

I drive it every day.. I go from 23 to 10. Gilead to the Trade Exit. I live off Beatties Ford so I actually take Beatties Ford to Exit 18 and it takes me 25 minutes on most mornings and 30 minutes coming home. Obviously it varies depending on the situation, but also how long to get to I-77. 23 to 18 isn't too bad in the morning, but can get ugly going home and 23 to 25 is worse and 25 to 28 is UGH!.. If you can get on 77 at 18 it saves you some time. The other slow down area is 13 to 9, where 85 joins 77 and people exit to uptown. Hope that helps.
