Anyone know of a local nutritionist? I really want to start eating healthy but really don't know where to begin. I don't really need to lose a lot of weight, I just want to start eating right and maybe someone could sit down with me and tell educate me on what I should be eating and how much etc.

By the way, I may soon be going to school for this. Through my job I have learned a lot about it.

High potassium fruits..like pineapples and bananas..get one of these and experiment:

Excellent for making smoothies - Hamilton Beach 51101 Blender - Epinions.com

You can search the web for smoothie recipes too. I try to use more fresh fruit than juice, but sometimes juice is a necessity. Pomegranate is good too and not so expensive anymore.
