Did a quick search in the forum and did not come up with a thread.

Have a vehicle that clearly falls within NC lemon laws. Currently working through BBB but betting will need to go to trial.

BTW, this is for GM's 8sp Transmission Shudder / Torque Convertor. Anyone have this issue? Local news has done several stories on it: https://www.wsoctv.com/news/action-9...sue/1006119667

Several class action lawsuits in other states.

Also hoping to find an expert witness on the topic.

TIA

This is a very hard thing to get resolved . If you have had it for only a couple of months you have a much stronger case than if the car is a year old.

Try 1-800-lemon law. I worked with them and they rocked. Btw, it wasn’t a hard process. Phone call and then fax all documentation on repairs etc. The car company pays the attorney fees.

Laws vary by state and I lived in Illinois at the time. They were able to represent me because the attorney was licensed in the state that Volvo was headquartered in. If they can’t represent you they can often refer you to someone local. Good luck. I’ve been through that and know it’s lousy.
