Possible move to Cornelius, Huntersville Elementary (Davidson, Bailey: neighborhoods, schools, suburbs)

Hi,

Potentially relocating to Cornelius/H-ville area as I traveled there over the weekend and was most similar to what we’re accustomed to currently where we are. I really enjoyed my time in the area. Those were selected over Davidson and M-ville despite job being in M-ville. We’ve been fortunate our last two schools have been 9 and 10 ratings. Looking in, Bailey Middle seems strong, but the student progress rating at elementary level is inconsistent. I can’t bank of lottery system of a charter so curious if the elem schools getting stronger? Or is there Any concern about elem school performance? Most notable Cornelius elem, Washam elem.

Or are there specific groups on FB or next door to get better clarity on specific neighborhoods within those two suburbs?

Any info would be appreciated.

You're looking in Mecklenburg county in case you want to take a look at other schools.
