Looking at a house that would require taking providence rd (16) to north Davidson area. Going north around 7am and south around 4:30 pm. Google maps says 20-40 minutes during those times. Any one familiar with the traffic on that road (pre Covid)?
Providence Rd doesn't actually go to NoDa, but if you are traveling it from the Arboretum area around Hwy 51 the traffic at those times is always at it's heaviest, even during Covid.
If you are talking Providence Road north of Highway #51 you can probably make it to NODA in 40 minutes. If you are south of Hwy #51 I wouldn't bet on it.
I would come around the east side of uptown and then south on 16. I’d be coming from Atando ave, so there’s some other streets I’d have to travel too but the main stretch would be 16.

I live at Providence and 485. Getting to uptown around 8 am takes about 20-25 minutes these days. 30-40 pre covid most days. Add five minutes to get over to NoDa if you’re staying on Providence up to 277 and over or however you want to do it.
