Some great economic news for Concord. Red Bull will bring 413 jobs with a median salary of $50K (up from the median salary of 41K in Cabarrus County).

They've taken the first step and require those under 18 to be with an adult on Friday & Saturday at 3pm on starting on July 30th.

Waiting to see how well that works out. Don't be surprised if Civil Rights attorneys get involved. Any public discussion will turn into a 'one way monologue' as they normally do.

North Lake Mall (newest mall in Mecklenburg County) is closer to me and is a tragic scene. The entire area is turning into a 'ghost town'.

Northlake Mall is in bankruptcy. Many malls have curfews on weekends. The Mall of America in Minnesota is one of them.

Nice that all the land will finally be used for something. It's been vacant for so long.

The Target, REI, Lowes, Best Buy, and new apartments going up don't make it a ghost town. That area is growing it's just the mall is trash bags.

If you're a property owner you better hope they are STEM jobs... Concord is pretty close to Denver so I hope it's median-salary stuff at least....

I agree with some others here Davidson, Concord, Kannapolis have some growing to do. It takes time to replace old houses with new and get rid of bad elements
