We have spent the last several days driving the kannapolis & concord area...

can anyone comment on the following information...

1. how are the schools in concord..high school & elemnetary

2. what areas in concord should we not consider...

3. where is the proposed new jail being built?

4. Is this a good area to raise a family

5. What is the annnual appreciation of the homes in this area

6. what is the appreciation of a new home new subdivison vs.
an existing home in an established neighborhood

7. any existing neighborhoods that we should consider and what is the average sales price per square foot

8. what is the average price per square foot for the new homes in this area.

We visited magolia springs and moss creek...any thoughts on these communitires

Any other information or recommedations that you can contribute is greatly appreciated...

I really can't comment to much on your questions but I can say for the most part the areas you mentioned are decent areas. I think the appreciation on homes there will go up just like most of Charlotte. I would feel comfortable raising my family there.

I can't comment specifically due to being a Realtor. So I will say this. I live within 10 mins of Moss Creek (or the surrounding areas) and would live there without to much concern. I would just drive around once you find something you like and see what the neighborhoods next door are like. You should be ok
