I'm guessng that you are in or near a northern city where there are black clubs. It would be best to wait until you arrive in Charlotte, then ask someone personally.

If you can't see the ignorance and rudeness in your original question then I have to tell you, you won't be attracting those intelligent men you claim to be looking for

Besides church groups, how about reunions of historically black colleges? Sometimes if enough folks are in a town, other than where the college was, they'll get together periodically. Do you know a Black fraternity that you like? See if they have any functions for former members in Charlotte.

Sorry but I consider this posting racist. A white person asking where white people hang out would be removed.

Don't know who this poster is, but would it be racist if the OP asked what clubs did "young, professional Koreans" frequent in Charlotte?? An Irish person asking about about single Irish Charlotteans? Someone from Brazil wondering if there is a Brazilian community here?

People have cultural differences and like to know what they can expect culturally when they move to a new area. Of course, culture/race isn't the only thing we look at when choosing social activities, but there is nothing wrong with seeking out activities that might attract people with a common background.

How true. maybe she should begin where most people tend to gather to socialize. even the dullest adult could figure that out.

I'm talking about color, not nationality. Go ahead and ask where white people hang out and see what response you get. Double standards exists in the U.S. Asking where Brazilians hang out does not elliminate a "race". There is a difference.
