Anyone going to the RibFest & Rodeo this coming weekend in Troutman? There's gonna be some very "tasty" ribs there and a pro-rodeo. We will be there!
And, how about that Hank Williams Jr. and Lynard Skynyrd concert on Saturday night at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte. We will be there also!
Ribs, rodeo, Hank Jr. and Skynyrd......now that is a HOT weekend.

That is correct - they just got the naming rights about a month ago

The Ribfest is kid friendly. There is a kidzone as well. I haven't been to the rodeo part but I've been in past years with kids in tow.

Rockin' RibFest for Dove House

We went last year and can confirm it was kid friendly. It must be a bigger event this year which is great.

It will be our first taste of "southern style" ribs and our first rodeo here in NC/East Coast. I spent numerous years in pro rodeo in Calif. and Colorado. As far as the concert goes, I seen Hank Jr. years ago in So Calif but have never seen Skynyrd. The company my wife works for gave us free tickets to the Suite they have at the Arena. Only one word for that, lucky!
