Haven't been to the one in Pa. Love to visit those kind of places in the fall. I'm looking forward to checking out the smokies here in the fall. Have you been?
Unfortunately no. Between DW working some weekends and kids activities, we have not really had a chance to get out and explore to the West. I think the farthest day trip we've taken in that direction has been a nice drive up Hwy 321 to Blowing Rock and Boone, then back home via Wilkesboro and Alexander County. There's lots to see and do over in Asheville. We'll just have to pick a weekend and go.

We are thinking of heading to Boone or Ashville this weekend for a day trip with the inlaws. They are visiting for the weekend and we are looking for things to fill the days.

Hi All, here is a covered bridge I worked on just outside of Waxhaw NC. This was my first commerical job. I cut all the trim for this covered bridge. Most of it was 18" wide.

"Bunker Hill Covered Bridge, one mile east of the Claremont Ridge...." A song we would sing in the 4th grade, growing up in Catawba County... I remember the days!
