We love the Carolinas Animal Hospital and Dental Clinic on Hwy 49 near Carowinds Blvd. Dr. Chambers is our favorite vet, but they are all great and provide excellent care.

I also recommend Carolinas Animal Hospital and Dental Clinic on Hwy 49 - it's across the street from the Sonic Drive-in. It was recommended to us by an animal control officer who was on a home visit because my cat bite me badly. I wanted to have her checked by a vet but being new to the area did not know where to go. Their office staff and Dr Jay - can't remenber his last name - are great -we are very glad to have found them.

I too love Dr. Chambers...he helps us out with greyhound rescue from time to time...but the dental clinic housed within his clinic is rather costly for us for routine dental maintenence for five pets (2 dogs, 3 cats). My "kids" go to Long Animal Hospital on South Blvd and we love them. I have been going there for over 7 years and we usually see Dr. Brian (Killough) or Dr. Brown or Dr. Killough (senior).

I used to take my cats to Dr. Duckwall at Sharon Lakes Animal Hospital. He was wonderful with them, very caring, let me ask lots of questions, and was very patient explaining everything to me. I would definitely recommend him.

I also go to Sharon Lakes Animal Hospital but I see Dr. Weaver. He is an AMAZING vet!! He listens to you and treats your pet like family. I would highly recommend him and his practice.

The Steele Creek Animal Hospital on S. Tryon is fantastic. All of the doctors have been great to work with...we take our cats there and I know of people from all over the Charlotte area who also take their pets there.

I know the post is a bit old, but if you are still looking...I hope this helps!
