We are relocating from Raleigh to the Charlotte area. Ideally, we'd love to live in a planned community (one of these "village/neotraditional" types sprouting up everywhere), preferably with Craftsman/front porch style homes, and even better--with equestrian facilities. I know it's a dream, but maybe something's out there? My husband doesn't want to commute much more than 30 minutes to work in downtown Charlotte.

Default Have you seen Cherokee Farms?

Take a look at the Equestrian Community near Clover, SC and Lake Wylie called Cherokee Farms. www.CherokeeFarms.info

Price makes a huge difference. I'm searching for the same thing for a client and price is the starting point, unfortunately. Some of the communities are extremely nice but extremely expensive.
