I am so frustrated today!!!!

For months now, I have been dealing with 2 neighbors and thier dogs!

These two particular nieghbors, let their dogs outside to poop every morning and everynight, the dogs ALWAYS come to my backyard. I am not home often, but I always see and smell the aftermath.

I have reported them to the HOA and they received warnings etc... Its also CONSTANTLY in our HOA newsletter.

With the amount of humidity and rain weve been having, my yard smells like complete crap!!!!!

I am honestly afraid to say something to them because I know how I am and its not going to come out very nice.

What else can I do????

We are only allowed privacy fences and I dont want that..... Privacy fences make me feel enclosed and it will ruin my beautiful view.

I can undertand. How about some kind of reverse invisible fencing to "discourage" the dogs from stepping foot on your side? Or some other such device that would keep them away? I once read in that in flight magazine on USAir about this sound machince you could buy and mount on your home that would emit high pitched sounds that only a dog would hear. The pain to their ears would keep them from coming close. It was a couple of hundred dollars.

Well I only follow half the rules, but 99% of the dog owners on my street do the same.

We curb our dogs in the common areas, but do NOT pickup the poop. It is senseless to pickup poop in a plastic bag and throw away. 200 years from now a bag of poop will still be sitting in the landfill. It is better to just let it decay (and fertilize)!

There is a very small percentage of people that curb their dogs in other people's yards, which I find very rude and disrespectful of other's property.

If I was in your situation, it would have to come to words.

One more idea...

Every evening when you get home, take a shovel, collect the poop and deposit it at their front door step.

Well, thats what my fiance wants to do... that is why I am afraid to approach them myself. I guess I will just keep reporting them to the HOA.

I just dont get people... I would NEVER do this!! EVER.

Its just so damn rude!!! And not only that, the dogs are running free in my yard? I do not own a dog, and dont get me wrong, I am an animal lover, but I am not very comfortable around strange dogs.

UGH!!!!!!! I am so frustrated.
