With rate increase, it's hard to know how to budget for the spikes. I'd rather pay them a little over in the colder months to avoid thos shocking
summer bills when it's $200 higher than usual.

You don't always pay more than the average, sometimes it's a little less.

Again, its convenence for me and I don't like planning for big spikes...I'd rather have it be a consistent bill.


For some, as you've explained it doesn't add value....

Really, it all works out either way in the end.....to each their own...
