It's in between Concord Mills Pkwy and Derita Road, down the hill behind the Mayflower seafood restaurant near the new apartments being built.

Here's the GPS coords to a spot in the parking lot: N 35° 22.633 W 080° 43.516

I recently got to shop in a "brand new" Wal-Mart while visiting some family in Texas. Holy cow! It was very different. The aisles were much wider (actually wide enough for 2 carts to go down each direction), and the store seemed brighter/better lit. And strangest of all, the employees actually spoke to us!

I hope the new Concord Mills WM will have those features.

I went by there this morning to see how close it is to being completed. It looked pretty close from the outside. Though, some wierd cage was attached to the side that looked like its purpose was to still hold up the wall. I would have to say that it is a little wierd on how you get down to it. Having said that, I bet the apartment complex and small set of new restaurants near the front of the same road are waiting anxiously for it to open... those seem very quiet, and need people to notice that those restaurants are there.
