Hi, I was hoping someone in the South Charlotte area could recommend a nail place that is not too expensive. I am new to the area and I am still tryng to find a place to do my hair and nails.

Elegant Nails - 4100 Carmel Rd (704) 543-1007‎

They are not the cheapest but they are very clean and sanitary and do a superb job w/ mani, pedi and acrylics as well.

If you are in the Steele Creek area, I'd recommend Beverly Nail Salon and Spa - it's in the Rivergate shopping center

Default not the cheapest

but be careful of really cheap places. I rather pay more then have to worry about fungus problems. There was a whole write up last year on the news about the lower end nail salons even in the Ballantyne area.
I like Voci and Ballantyne resort...ballantyne resort is more but you get to keep your polish.
