I will be moving to Charlotte next year and would like to find an area to live. I am 30, single and looking for a place where the atmosphere is young and fun but not the party scene. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

My best advice to you is to go back over all the old threads in the Charlotte forum and read as many as you can - there is tons of info that many people just like you have sought and received before After doing some reading you'll notice some of the same places recommended over and over again based on what people just like you are looking for. Take note of those names of places (sides of town, neighborhood names) and use the "search" feature above to find more posts just about those places. Best of luck to you!

If you don't have time to do a long search as a single 30 yr old myself...I would reccomend Uptown, Southend, Dilworth PlazaMidwood Elizabeth, NoDa areas. There is a mix of 20 and 30somethings in all of these neighborhoods and adjacent areas. Can't go wrong in any of them.

Best of luck to you. I wish I had the guts to move there along when I was 30 and single.
