Has anyone used a baby nurse to stay overnight for a few days after their baby was born? If so, which service did you use? Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!
Although we didn't have her for nights, we did have a nurse come in a few days a week shortly after our twins came home from the hospital. We called several services, including Bayada nurses. They were very friendly and tried to help us as best they could, they just didn't have a qualified nurse who was available for the times that we needed. They are a nation-wide nurse staffing company, so you might check them out. You can also contact the pediatrics unit at the delivery hospital and ask for recommendations. Our guys had to spend a few weeks in the NICU, so the nurses there were used to scheduling home nurse visits. Best of luck, I know it can be difficult at first.
Have you received any responses about your baby nurse request? Trying to find out the range for baby nurses and if it is feasable for a two week period? Any idea how it works when Nurse is at the house 24 hours in terms of payment per hour? Hoping for 2 wks full time since husband travels extensively. Thanks a ton.
Wouldn't a baby nurse be a little too young? I would at least think of finding one in their twenties, to care for a baby.
I'm really sorry about this.
