I have several nice suits that I want to sell at consignment shop. I contacted one shop and they said suits are no longer in demand. Is this true? Let me know if anyone knows where I can sell them. Thanks

I do think that the business world is shifting generally to be more business casual. Which I personally am very thankful for, I think the exception is probably still the financial industry, but even they are loosening up a bit.

It seems like with the fall coming around though, there should still be a fair demand for suits. I know for me personally, as a student, this was the prime time to start getting my wardrobe together for interviews in the upcoming school year. Poor college kids love a nice second hand suit, and even some not so nice ones for a flashback night out.

Finance and healthcare execs, as well as funeral directors and ministers - all still need to wear suits on a regular basis. I think attorneys and CPAs need to don a suit on occasion, as well.

There ought to be some way to do this other than Craigslist.

I am so surprised to hear that a consignment shop wasn't interested.
