Does anyone know where I can go to purchase a good quality microscope (high school/college level).

As far as local retail - no. You may want to check through the University. Online, I believe Fisher Scientific would probably have something along the lines of what you're looking for, but they aren't cheap.

Actually yes you can. Science Hobbies on Wendover Rd has been around here for about 40 years. I bought my first Microscope and Chem set there. Here's a link
