Can anyone advise me on where to send my resume or look for jobs in Charlotte for a non-profit fundraising position? I have exceled in my field in San Diego, and due to my significant other's job transfer from San Diego, we are off to Charlotte (and I am very excited!) Thanks!

I hear the United Way pays pretty good in Charlotte!!!

(Sorry, but that's been a sore subject around here this past summer. Good luck in your search. )

United Way is actually a great place to start your search. Most United Way affiliates are in relatively early stages of their major fall campaigns. The United Way could likely steer you to any of their funded agencies that might be looking for a development professional. Worst case, you might get a temp job in the current campaign and make lots of great contacts. I was thinking of doing just that in Greenville, SC, where I just moved. But I think I just landed a job outside of fundraising.

Good luck!
