Best route to Panthers game from the north? (Hickory, Pineville: home, stadium)

Going to the Panthers game tomorrow from the Hickory area.
What would be the best route and exit to the stadium?
Also, is there a preferred parking area in order to have easier access out after the game?

I go to all the Panther home games via Mint Street which to me seems a nice 'back way' to the stadium and lots of parking ranging from $5 to $20 depending on how close you want to be and how far you want to walk!

So, from Hickory I'd go 321south----85north----485 (towards Pineville/matthews)----77north---to Remount rd exit go right at top of ramp---left on hwy 49(N Tryon St)--- Left on West Blvd----Right on Mint you'll see the stadium once you drive down Mint and pick your parking spot from there....
