I'm looking at houses in that area. The papers serving the area are the Shelby newspaper & the Gaston Gazette.

Most of Kings Mountain is in Cleveland County but some is in Gaston County.

You might want to check Yahoo Real Estate or Realtor.com

Have you checked on craigs list? Usually, you can find some listed on there. I just checked the MLS and there are not currently listed for rent.

Try Rent Rent: Craigslist rentals on map. They seem to have good rental listings from various sources.
