Was wondering what the average length of time from pre-drywall inspection to closing on your house.

For those who have done it how long did it take?

Howlong have you been told it would take?

Thanks

My builder told me 2 weeks for drywall, and about 6 weeks to completion. Didn't ask how long after to closing.

Default pre drywall to closing

We had our pre-drywall meeting on 11/7/06 and closed on 1/26/07 eve with Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holidays in between! Our builder stayed on schedule during the entire building process.

We just did our pre-drywall with David Weekley in Baxter. The builder said it will be about two months. Our RE agent said the same, although it could be plus or minus a couple of weeks depending on the size of your home.

Ok I have my pre-drywall inspection on Monday, I have also hired an inspector (thanks to this forum for that).

Anything that I should be looking for or and advise?
